Sabato 16 ottobre alle ore 17:30 Arte Borgo Gallery presenta la mostra tripersonale dal titolo Parallel Visions inserita nella VI edizione di Rome Art Week a cura di Anna Isopo con la collaborazione di Giorgia Pirone e con presentazione a cura della storica dell’arte Laura Turco Liveri.

Lesley Bunch, Lidia Chaplin, Josine Dupont caratterizzano l’esposizione facendo dialogare armoniosamente elementi di espressione contemporanea. Parallel Visions condivide il complesso percorso di tre artiste di provenienza diversa in cui l’arte converge verso una ricerca comune di emozioni.

Visioni parallele in cui le differenze non sono in contrasto ma caratterizzano la definizione della singolarità

delle opere come espressione inconscia di sentimenti, una sintesi tra i diversi equilibri frutto di costante

ricerca interiore. Tre donne protagoniste interpretano ciascuna la propria peculiarità. Una mostra che

mette a confronto la pittura contemporanea in grado di stimolare le varie tradizioni culturali.

Lesley Bunch vive e lavora a Londra. Lelsey nella mostra Parallel Visions propone le opere della serie "Shadow Sculpture" prendendo in prestito oggetti di fusione che sono investiti dalle emozioni, dalla memoria e dal senso di identità dei loro proprietari. Le storie dei prestatori influenzano la sua manipolazione dell'oggetto mentre compone un'ombra. Riprodotta e resa come scolpita nei suoi quadri, l'ombra diventa un'entità distaccata e autonoma, non più ancorata o sostitutiva del suo oggetto di proiezione. Si riduce a una forma inclassificabile, de-familiarizzata, che tuttavia è una manifestazione del suo scambio con il prestatore.

Lidia Chaplin è un'artista britannica con un background scientifico e giornalistico. In questa mostra Lidia

presenta opere concettuali in cui considera l'uomo come un fenomeno senza limiti secondo il principio

dell'infinito dell'Universo, cerca di andare oltre il concetto di “umano”, e brancola le possibili trasformazioni

di una persona umana e del suo ambiente concomitante in un mondo immaginario che alla fine ha perso i

suoi confini.

I lavori di Josine Dupont conducono l'osservatore in un tempo sospeso, dove le immagini sfumano nei

contorni, creando atmosfere astrattamente rarefatte. Nell'impianto compositivo si svelano arcane armonie

di segno e di colore, che sembrano rifarsi all'idea platonica della "mimesis". Con un tratto rapido e leggero

l'artista percorre lo spazio pittorico, dove appare la sintesi esplicativa di un processo di decostruzione e

rivisitazione del reale. Il linguaggio pittorico dell'artista è intriso di una musicalità, fra i cui

ritmi lo sguardo cerca di decifrare profili conosciuti, in un vortice emotivo che induce a percorrere sentieri

di intima introspezione.

Saturday 16 October at 5.30 pm Arte Borgo Gallery presents the exhibition entitled Parallel Visions included in the VI edition of Rome Art Week curated by Anna Isopo with the collaboration of Giorgia Pirone and a presentation by the art historian Laura Turco Liveri.

Lesley Bunch, Lidia Chaplin, Josine Dupont characterize the exhibition by harmoniously interacting with elements of contemporary expression. Parallel Visions shares the complex path of three artists from different backgrounds in which art converges towards a common search for emotions.

Parallel visions in which the differences are not in contrast but characterize the definition of the singularity

of the works as an unconscious expression of feelings, a synthesis between the different balances that are the result of constant inner research.

Three women protagonists each interpret their own peculiarity. An exhibition that compares contemporary painting capable of stimulating various cultural traditions.

Lesley Bunch lives and works in London. Lelsey in the Parallel Visions exhibition proposes the works of the "Shadow Sculpture" series by borrowing fusion objects that are invested by the emotions, memory and sense of identity of their owners. Lenders' stories influence his manipulation of the object as he composes a shadow. Reproduced and rendered as sculpted in her paintings, the shadow becomes a detached and autonomous entity, no longer anchored or substituted for its object of projection. It boils down to an unclassifiable, de-familiarized form, which is nevertheless a manifestation of its exchange with the lender.

Lidia Chaplin is a British artist with a scientific and journalistic background. In this exhibition Lidia

she presents conceptual works in which she considers man as a phenomenon without limits according to the principleof the infinity of the Universe, she tries to go beyond the concept of "human", and gropes the possible transformations of a human person and his / her concomitant environment in an imaginary world that eventually lost its borders.

Josine Dupont's works lead the observer into a suspended time, where images fade into contours, creating abstractly rarefied atmospheres. In the compositional system, arcane harmonies are revealed of sign and color, which seem to refer to the Platonic idea of "mimesis". With a quick and light stroke she the artist runs through the pictorial space, where the explanatory synthesis of a deconstruction process appears reinterpretation of the real. The artist's pictorial language is imbued with a musicality, among which rhythms the gaze tries to decipher known profiles, in an emotional vortex that induces you to walk along paths of intimate introspection.
